Tomorrow
is the first day of school and I am sooooooo excited to have all my new
students in my classroom. Today they
dropped off their supplies: New crayons, markers, glue, tape, paper, all those
wonderful things teachers love.
Now
tomorrow the fun begins. On Wednesday my
students will meet their 8th grade buddies for the first time. To help the 8th graders and the
kindergarteners interact with each other I created a book for them to work on
together.
My hope is
that the 8th graders will read and talk to their little buddies about
the pages. Then, together, fill in the
blanks. There are spots for both of them
to draw pictures.
