I
am joining Miss Kindergarten and A Teeny Tiny Teacher looking back at 2011 by remembering the 11 of my favorite things throughout the year.
My Favorite
Things from 2011
11. Favorite book
10. Favorite TV series:
I am addicted to NCIS……I watch it all the time especially
the reruns! I also like Modern Family
and The Middle.
9. Favorite restaurant:
My Favorite restaurant is The Cheesecake Factory
and I order The Pasta Davinci….my favorite dish!
8. Favorite new thing you tried:
Blogging would be my new favorite thing this year! This is my first year in the blog world
reading and participating and I am learning so much!
7. Favorite gift you got:
This gift is to myself from myself but I have
wanted it for a long time…..my
nephew build it for me and I am in the process of painting it.......a laundry organizer. I copied the idea from: Anna.White......when I finish mine will be all white.
6. Favorite thing you pinned:
I just love this winter picture of Amsterdam.
5. Favorite blog post:
It was not a popular post but I thought I did
several neat things here. I took an idea
about sketching from Pinterest and created a book for the writing center that
the children love and use every day.
I displayed the students’ work samples on
backgrounds using the Fireworks program for the first time.
4. Best accomplishment:
My best accomplishment of the year is the creation
of my blog the very busy kindergarten.
I am teaching my self so much in order to participate in blogging.: downloading
fonts, photography, uploading documents……all of this is
new to me. Every time I want to create
or do something I have to learn the steps.
I learn something new every day about blogging or creating. It is so much fun!
3. Favorite picture:
I am into owls this year….so
right now this is my favorite picture……
2. Favorite memory:
My own kids are still in college….but
this year my son Mike is staying at home and commuting to a college an hour away
after four years of being away from home.
So I enjoy the time I get to talk to him. Also I enjoy any moments my daughter
spends home from college as well even if
it is just a few hours of shopping for the week.
1.
Goal for 2012:
My goals for 2012 are very simple…..to simplify my life and get
my self in a healthy happy place.
As far as blogging…to continue to build connections with other bloggers .
