Mini ScrapBook

I met all my little students today.........they were so shy with their parents.  Tomorrow they come by themselves for the first day.  Oh My!  I'm not sure I am ready.

I am not off to a good start, I already had to retype the poem I put on the first page of their mini scrapbook.

The children will draw a picture of themselves on the first day of school.  I'll post a sample in the next couple of days of the final product.....but I thought someone might like this poem for their class.   I don't remember where I found it years ago......but it is adorable.

Pumpkins

Today I am working on the Pumpkin Farm pages of the memory books.  Each child has at least three to four pages.  I am not trying to do anything fancy on this page.  I have 24 books to do by the end of May.  

Classroom Friends

Today I added the Classroom of Friends Poem to the mini scrapbook, I found this poem years ago on a website.  I wish I could remember which website so I could give credit to the proper person. I have the children draw pictures of their friends to add next to the poem and then I put a class picture underneath.  This year I had the children stand on the new play structure.

  

  

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

This is the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom page  for the kids mini scrapbook.  At the end of the year I give each child a mini scrapbook that has pictures from our kindergarten year.  I'll post more pages as I finish them.  

The Cover

Each year I make my students a individual mini scrapbook of his/her kindergarten year for a gift at the end of the school year.  This week's goal is to get the covers completed.  I made this cover on Photo Shop.  I could not get one of my student's names to print on Wordle so I had to create it the hard way.
