Put Me In The Zoo
Wow! I cannot believe it is that time of year
already you know the time to get the Dr. Seuss early readers out.
Today I started
one of my reading groups with, Put Me In The Zoo. They were very excited to see this book. A couple of the children said, they had the
book at home.
We read through
the book fairly quickly, which I though
we would. Tomorrow I will give them a
little follow up assignment I put together for the book.
This review of
rhyming words is always interesting to me.
I like to see how they do with this independently.
Can they find the words in the book that rhyme or do they try to make up
their own.
