Friday Favorites -- Thinking of Someone Else

I wrote about this book a couple of weeks ago for a Friday Favorite  and we made a super cute art project as well.

This week, I decided to use this book in another way.

My nephew has a little boy who is in the hospital for the next several weeks and he loves Star Wars.  I didn't know exactly what to do with Star Wars however I remembered how much my class loved this book and I thought he might like this book as well.

I ordered him a copy of the book and I also picked up the sequel to the book.

My class was very excited about both these books and they thought the little boy would love them too.

We decided to make a banner for the little boy to send along with our books and prayers.

The banner turned out super cute. 

 I hope they enjoyed it.

This is one of those lessons I love to teach,

when we take time to think about others and do something nice for someone else.
