Thanksgiving Cards

“The greatest lesson we can share with our students is the way we live our life.”
The Seed, Jon Gordon

This is a powerful quote and a reminder that what we do each day leaves a mark on our little ones.  At our school we encourage our students to get involved in service projects.

One of our kindergarten service projects is making Holiday cards for the elderly.  Each year it is a challenge for me to come up with a new card.  This year my paraprofessional, Julie, and I put together this cute card.

The children had a great time sorting the circles out of the container of foam shapes and creating the cards.
They made two cards one for the elderly and one for their parents.
Happy Thanksgiving
