This Week we are learning about the letter M. We have read lots of great M stories but we are finishing with, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie.

I like to finish with this book because it is a good introduction for our first traveling bag.

A Class Book

Mouse

A Chocolate Chip Cookie

Each child completes a page in the class book about the visit.

I like to start the book out with my own page as a sample for parents.

I really like this idea but I'm always a little leary about sending stuff like this home with the kids. Do you usually get it back with no problem? I have 6 ELL students in my class and I'm not sure they will understand. Thanks as always for sharing your great ideas.
