Don’t Let Pigeon
This is the time of year when my students
begin to realize that they can really read the Pigeon books by Mo Willems.
That is why I read all the pigeon books to
them during SQUIRT time this week.
On
Friday they took time to write about something they would not want the pigeon
to do and drew a picture.
Then they created a pigeon art project.
I thought it would be fun to change it into a
class book.
So I typed up their writings
from the morning
and did a little collage work and came up with these cute class
book pages.
I couldn’t bear to throw out their cute
pigeons so I cut them out too and made cover pages and a back to the book.
Now we have another adorable book for our
Reading Center.
Mo Willems is one of my favorite read aloud authors!!! TOO CUTE!
