Computer Center

Managing the computer center could be a full time job......the children have so many questions as they work at the computers.

In order to make the computer center as kid friendly as possible.....I have set up this page so I can just tell the children what picture I want them to click on.......and then they know what to work on.

For example,  this week I want them to  play the brown bear game or red apple game during Math Stations

and

during Literacy Stations I want them to read One Hungry Monster

What do you do to make the computer center child friendly???

  1. Thank you for sharing. I am not very good at getting my children organized at the computer and this helped a lot!

  2. That's a good idea! I used the Smart Board software to take "pictures" of how to search for whatever website I want them to go to and then click on it. They do pretty well with it. Each student has a login with a username and password. They are very independent and type in the website name in the search bar. When I type an example for them, I type it in all caps so they can easily find it on the computer. This is the first year I have done it like this and the reason I chose to was because my children in the past have had such a hard time being independent at that center.
