Random Acts of Kindness

February is the month of LOVE!  My little ones have been super busy this month making lots of valentines for the elderly and their parents.

First we used our watercolors and painted a large piece of white paper.  Then we punched out hearts and decorated cards.  Oops…. I forgot to take pictures!!

We had a lot of beautiful watercolor paintings left over so I decided to use it for another idea.

After reading the book, PLANT A KISS, we came up with the idea of spreading lot of kindness around the school because that would bring ENDLESS BLISS to everyone!

It is Lent and it is the perfect time for me to teach the children about Jesus teaching others about God’s Love.  After we made lots more cards.

We attached this little note to the back.

Now we are passing them out randomly to people we see in the school.  The lunchroom moms, the crossing guards, the bus drivers, the specialty teachers, the ladies who work in the office and the men who take care of our school. We even plan on walking over to the rectory to give a card to the people who work over there.

If you would like a copy of the labels for the back of the cards.  I used the Avery labels 18163 for this project.

Lots of Love and Happiness to You :)
