Activity for St. Nicholas Day

Measuring Socks

Last week it was St. Nicholas Day at school.  Each child was assigned to bring in a sock to school.  

We categorized our socks and compared them.  

Then we measured them with blocks and walked around the room and tried to find socks that were longer and shorter. 

  At the end of the day we hung our socks on our chairs and St. Nick came and filled our socks with goodies.   Lots of fun!
