Mother's Day Vases

My little ones painted these beautiful vases for their mothers  AND  here is the best part.
The vases did not cost me a penny.  If fact I  reused them.
Every time I went to Noodles to eat with my family we ordered something to drink.
I generally share a lemonade with my husband and the kids share something too.
So I saved our lemonade bottles all year.
Of course I washed them and cleaned them up.
I used goo gone to take the sticky stuff off.

I spray painted them white and then let the kids paint their own designs.
I put a coat of Modge Podge on the vases as well.

I used scrap ribbon to tie a bow on the vase.

I added some flowers ( which I did buy)   and wrapped them in a bag.

My little ones also made a Mother's Day book and an art project in art class for their mother as well.

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
:)

  1. I love repurposing. The gifts look lovely. We did something very similar too. :)
